How these numbers are produced

  • One record per paid upstream call, written at the single proxy chokepoint that every payment branch passes through.
  • Success rate counts only the provider's failures. Calls rejected because the request itself was malformed, and calls that failed on our own credentials, are excluded from the denominator and reported separately — neither says anything about whether the provider served.
  • Latency is the wall-clock time of the paid upstream leg, over successful calls only, so a fast error cannot flatter it. Percentiles are exact, not histogram estimates.
  • Every recorded call is counted, whoever paid — this is an internal operating view, not an external-demand figure. Volume reflects orders recorded at payment time; settlement can still fail afterwards, so it is not a guarantee of settled funds.
  • “—” means no data in this window, not zero. A service with no traffic is not a service that failed.
